The Cortland County Area Agency on Aging invites all to the 23rd Annual Enrichment Day! This year’s event will occur on June 4th at SUNY Cortland. This event is open to all members of the community.

Enrichment Day is designed to provide information and entertainment for community members of all ages to broaden their knowledge of local topics and activities contributing to their overall well-being. Highlighting this year’s Enrichment Day is keynote speaker Greg Olsen, Acting Director of the New York State Office for the Aging!

Enrichment Day has 19 workshop commitments. These workshops are broken down to four time slots with up to five programs running at a time. Participants will select one workshop per time slot to attend. These are just the tip of the offerings which also includes a vendor fair, a light breakfast and lunch included with $18 registration fee! This year’s workshops include:

  • Functional Movement Patterns

  • Music & Eldercare: Possibilities for Memory, Joy & Relationship
  • A Retiree and His ’Bucket List’
  • Medicare Wheel of FUN
  • Aphasia Diagnosis Following Brain Injury
  • One Food Five Ways
  • Crystal’ates- Yoga & Pilates Blend
  • Safety While at Home & Away.


This year’s event is co-sponsored by Tompkins Trust Company and the 1st National Bank of Dryden, and will be held at the Corey Union building on the SUNY Cortland campus from 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The paid parking lot will be available at no charge to participants. Parking is also available behind Van Hoesen Hall. Space for some workshops is limited so register quickly!
