The Cortland Age Well Center is the new main older adult engagement location for Cortland County Seniors. The Age Well Center functions as the "main hub" for older adults in Cortland County. Located conveniently at 165 Main Street in Cortland, the site hosts programming and events to enrich the lives of older adults in Cortland County. Parking available in back of building, off of Huntington Street.
The Age Well Center is currently open weekdays, closed only for inclement weather or a County Holiday. Grab and Stay meals are available starting at 11:00 a.m.
A well balanced meal enhances the daily nutrition intake and nutritional status of older adults. We urge participants to call 607-753-5060 to pre-order your meal. Current monthly menu listed below.
In addition to meals and socialization, the Age Well Center can provide health screenings, nutrition and health education, nutrition counseling, access to services and information on topics of interest to all older adults.
Current Scheduled Activities include:
Bingo: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 10-11 AM (sometimes could start early!)
Bonesavers: Tuesdays and Thursdays- 10:00-11:00 a.m., and 12:30-1:30 p.m. Classes are limited to those registered in advance, call 607-753-5060 to reserve your space or get on a waiting list!
Cards: Pitch every Thursday at 12:30 p.m. Bring a partner!
