CORTLAND COUNTY AREA AGENCY ON AGING

The mission of the Area Agency is to advocate, plan, develop and provide a coordinated system of programs and services on behalf of all senior citizens of Cortland County so that they may live with maximum independence, autonomy and dignity.

The Area Agency is supported by Federal, State, and local funds, and participant donations. In addition, it depends upon the financial support of individuals and organizations in the community.

The following individuals are among those who support and sustain the efforts of the Area Agency:

• Cortland County Legislature
• Town and Village Boards
• Advisory Committee Members
• Community groups and organizations
• NYS Office for the Aging
