Christine Ferraro is an Assistant District Attorney who has worked for the office since April of 2012.
Christine received her BS in Criminal Justice from Elmira College in 2007, graduating summa cum laude. In 2010, Christine earned her JD from Albany Law School graduating cum laude. While at Albany Law School, Christine was selected to participate in the domestic violence clinic where she interned at the Rensselaer County District Attorney’s Office.
Prior to joining the Cortland County DA’s office, Christine worked as an attorney for the Wayne County Department of Social Services. She primarily worked on cases involving child abuse and child neglect.
Christine has prosecuted general crime throughout Cortland County including narcotics and sexual assaults. Christine’s current focus is prosecuting cases involving sexual assault which involves working closely with the Cortland County Child Advocacy Center.
Christine is passionate about her role as prosecutor. She resides with her loving family in Cortland County.
