Cortland Works Career Center
The Cayuga-Cortland Workforce Development Board is scheduled to meet on June 3, 2020 at 8am. We will be hosting this meeting as a virtual video conference board meeting due to the current COVID-19 restrictions. If you are interested in attending this meeting, please email our Board Director, Amy Buggs at email@example.com for the meeting call in number and password to join the meeting via WebEx. All public comments are asked to be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, ahead of the meeting with a deadline of June 2, 2020 at 4:00pm.
In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Cortland Works Career Center office will be closed, effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020. We have made this decision to align with Federal, State, Regional, and Local guidance and similar closures. We will not reopen until further notice. Our top priority is to maintain the safety of our community.

Your One-Stop Career Center
The Cortland Works Career Center (CWCC) operates under the Federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. It is part of a system of One-Stop Career Centers across the country. In New York State these Center's comprise the "American Job Center Network".
Training, Education & Employment
The Center is a single site in our community where job seekers and businesses can access information about training, education, and employment services. Currently there are seven community agencies located at the CWCC to bring you a full range of employment and training services.
The Cortland Works Career Center truly represents all of the good things that can happen when government and community agencies work cooperatively to achieve a common goal. For us, that goal is to strengthen our County's workforce.
Whether you are unemployed, underemployed, or a business seeking a skilled workforce the Center has been created to meet your needs. Come in and see what we have to offer.
